What is the trip about ?
The Motorbike Angels have 4 main objectives
1.) To raise
2.) To bring some well needed funds to Anglo Thai Foundation to fund the education of Thai children
3.) To raise the profile of the Anglo Thai Foundation in England and in Thailand
4.) To bring some fun and gifts to the children

The Anglo-Thai Foundation supports the installation of clean water projects at some of the schools we work with in rural North East Thailand. One such school. Ban Prueyai in Khukhan, Sisaket province does not have safe drinking water for their 524 students. Their present, very basic, arrangement of collecting rainwater from the roof is unsatisfactory as many pigeons roost there and the water cannot be guaranteed to be clean. (See below)

The cost of a standard water filter system which conforms to World Health Organisation standards is 100.000 Baht/ £2,000. The Anglo-Thai Foundation works closely with a local engineer Mr Cherchai Jinasaen who supervises all our water installations. Pictured below is a standard ATF water installation.

Ban Prue Yai school has recently made an application for such an installation and the proceeds of the Motorbike Angels ride will be sponsoring it.

These children understand the importance of a good education, some walk many miles to and from school. The schools need books, pens, computers, toilets, things that many children in the UK take for granted. The Motorbike Angels are hoping to make this an annual trip.
